Downtown Thomasville is full of great shopping, eating and drinking! Ryan and I can't leave town without stopping at Kevins, eating at George and Louie's, or grabbing a beer at Hubs & Hops.
Guide to Downtown
Some of our favorites:
Breakfast/Coffee: Grassroots coffee (local small batch roaster, get a bag to take home!), Empire Bagel (best bagels in town)
Lunch, dinner and drinks: SASS (Cajun/southern eats), Jonah's Fish and Grits (the classic shrimp and grits is my go-to), George and Louies (right by the Marriott Hotel - think a mix of Greek, American and fresh seafood), Sweet Grass Dairy & Cheese Shop, Hubs and Hops (Taproom is located behind the bike shop - best beer selection in Thomasville with lots of FL/GA/SC brews)
Shopping: Kevins, Onward Reserve (men's clothing - they have an outlet located next door with some good deals), Blake Candle Company

Pebble Hill is open to the public as a museum Tuesday-Sunday. Starting November 3rd, the featured exhibit will be "Identity and Restraint" an exhibit from the National Sporting Library and American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog. We highly recommend touring the house!
M ain House Tours: 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM
G rounds: 10 AM - 5 PM
Sunday - Grounds only: 12 - 5 PM

There are lots of trails, a lighthouse, and a beach area. This is a great spot for birding, and if you're lucky you may even spot the local flamingo!
Located on the north side of Tallahassee, Alfred B. Maclay Gardens is a 1,176-acre botanical gardens and historic site. This is a peaceful spot to visit with lots of walking trails.
Thomasville is the quail hunting capital of the south. There are multiple guided hunt options in the area, as well as sporting clay facilities.
