Our Story
We think God tried really hard to have us meet. Yet, it took around 10 years for that to happen despite Ryan living across the street from Caroline's best friend, our younger brothers playing on the same lacrosse team and carpooling home from practice together, Ryan being good friends with Caroline's next-door neighbor (they even sat next to each other at the UNF graduation), summers scalloping in Steinhatchee and too many mutual friends to count.
It wasn’t until August 2017 when we eventually did meet at the House of Beer in Gainesville. After an entire evening of looking at a map of western North Carolina and helping Ryan plan a forthcoming Labor Day backpacking trip, the rest is history!
On April 1st, 2022, Ryan proposed on the boat at Channel Marker #1 in Steinhatchee, FL, and Caroline said "Yes!"
We are so excited to see you & your families as we celebrate our marriage in November 2023! We can't thank you enough for being a part of our lives and joining us for this special occasion.
